2011 Festival Team Spans the West Coast
Our
U19 Festival Team features outstanding players from the Bay Area, LA, and Orange County. We will be playing in
Pool M this year against teams from Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Ohio, North Carolina, and Maine. Good luck!

U16 Team News Congratulations
to our U16 team which won the third place medal in the 40th Annual California Cup in Moorpark California over Memorial Day
weekend (May 27-30, 2011). In the six games played HB Wave scored 18 goals while only allowing 3 goals. The only
game they lost was their semi-final match against the eventual tournament champions. Coaches from UC Davis, Berkeley,
UOP, Cornell, and others watched the girls play.

U19 Team News The
HB Wave U19 team has been accepted to play in the 2011 National Field Hockey Festival.
Our first tournament was the National Field Hockey Festival in Phoenix, Arizona during Thanksgiving
weekend 2010. Our U19 HB Wave team placed second in our pool with a record of 2 wins, 3 ties, and 1 loss. Over
50 college coaches watched our HB Wave players during Festival and our player profiles were viewed over 350 times.
